When I retired from the military, I wanted to do something I could be passionate about. What better way than to fight for my clients the way I served people that did not have the ability to fight for themselves for the past two decades around the world. That is the reason for the Smith Trial Logo. I love our Country and despite its challenges I know we are the City upon the Hill, and that is why so many good people around the world try so hard to come here, more so than any other country in the world. And our legal system, far from perfect, whether in criminal court or litigating a civil matter, offers the best opportunity for justice. However, to obtain that justice, you need an attorney that will first be an honest advisor about your case, and then after a course of action is determined a fierce advocate. It is why I chose the law as my second profession. I wake up every day passionate, about fighting for my clients.

Why Smith Trial Law? I have learned that to best represent clients, from the very start we must prepare the case as if I am making a closing argument to the jury. What do I have to prove or disprove, and what are the elements of the different counts. Once we have the case strategy planned, we then gather the evidence and prepare for trial. In many instances you never make it to trial, because what is best for the client it to settle out of court, but that does not change the underlying principle. It is why our Military is feared around the world. They train and prepare for war more so than any other military on the planet, so that if it comes, they are ready.
